Your Kitchen Spa

Kandee Johnson is a make-up artist that Carey and I LOVE. I was watching her video on egg masks (you can watch it here) and decided to research some at home beauty tricks and organic recipes. We’ll call it “Your Kitchen Spa” and this is Part 1!
I haven’t tried Kandee’s egg mask… yet. I am defiantly planning on trying it soon! I will let you know how it works when I try it!
Natural Glow
For a natural glow, eating better is the trick! If you feel like you can never get tan, consider switching your diet! However, we can’t constantly be tanning, so to make your own organic bronzer: Mix cocoa powder, cinnamon and arrowroot (optional) until you get a shade you like. Then, brush it on! Easy peezy!

Make Your Skin Soft!
Apparently, harsh cleansers pull out your natural oils and make your skin, well, oilier. Using olive, olive oil, or coconut lifts the oils from your face! For every ¼ caster oil, use about ¾ almond oil. Rub the mixture on your face and let sit for a couple minutes, then wash off with a warm wash cloth.

A version of a Facial Mask
Here is a version of Kandee Johnson’s Facial mask. Take honey, plain yogurt, and whipped egg white (whisk until they look frothy) and put all over your face. Leave on for about 10 minutes. Wipe off with warm water.

Whiten Your Teeth!
No need to splurge on an expensive teeth whitening! Just use strawberries and baking soda! Here’s how: Wash up some strawberries and add an equal amount of baking soda. But the mixture into a mouth guard and leave in for about 30 minutes. Repeat each day until you get the desired effect! If you try it, leave a picture of your pearly whites!

On one Condition…
That’s right; a natural hair conditioner can do wonders! This one strengthens and makes hair shiny and smooth. To make this conditioner mix one banana and one avocado and comb through clean, damp hour. Put on a shower cap and leave in for at least 15 minutes. Then rinse all of the mixture out in the shower! Ooooh smooth and shiny!

Please Note: If you are allergic to ANY of these ingredients, do NOT try them!
Hope you loved “Your Kitchen Spa” as much as I did! So go plan a spa slumber party and get cookin!
